An afternoon's trekking in beautiful open countryside or along the coastline is the dream of many weekend and urban riders. Gentle sloping hills and small welcoming villages, with tea houses and pubs galore are all encountered in a day's ride. Time passes slowly and evenings spent in Irish company, whether over a drink in a friendly pub or enjoying some traditional Irish entertainment, are an ideal form of relaxation.
So why not get away from it all and explore the magic of Kerry on horseback? All levels of experience and ages are catered for. Beginners have the reassurance of being accompanied by an experienced instructor while the casual enthusiast can enjoy a relaxing and undemanding horse riding holiday. In our mini breaks we have included 2 hours riding for two days, along golden beaches and through idyllic countryside. Extra hours and days can be arranged. More experienced riders can enjoy the half day mountain trek or our fabulous trail riding.
Ride along the wild, secluded beaches of South Kerry, to the roar of the Atlantic Ocean. We offer you a choice of Equestrian breaks, one is based right on the coast, in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, the other is based in Killarney where you can explore the National Park on Horseback and we also have a wonderful trail ride.
When you're not horse riding, you can hire a bicycle, visit heritage centers or simply stroll around, enjoying the pubs and restaurants of the area.
